Art of Living Happy – Finding Your Passion
I’ve read several books about ‘finding your passion‘. I have taken many courses that will ‘uncover my true life’s purpose‘. It seems like it shouldn’t be that difficult to figure out what I am passionate about, should it? I love having massages, getting my nails done and adore having my head shampooed at the salon. I was thinking that maybe one of these activities was my passion – but no, it turns out that I just love being pampered – don’t you?
Then it suddenly hit me, my passion is the journey of finding my passion and sharing my path with others to help them to find their passion! I love to read about angels, psychics, healers, shamanism, Feng Shui as well as other types of energy work – I have been perusing self-help/new age book store shelves and library shelves for the past thirty years. Now that’s passion! I also love to attend seminars and programs that help me find out more about myself and others. Two years ago, I went to California from Connecticut to study with Denise Linn, a best-selling author and healer, where I learned all about Soul Coaching and Past Life Coaching. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!
Now that I’ve quit my hedge fund accounting job, I’m eager to share all that I’ve learned over the past thirty years. Like I’ve said before, I don’t have all the answers, and I’m not going to tell you what to think or what to believe – but I am happy to share my knowledge with you.
In closing, I wanted to comment on the NEW (as of 6/21/2010) company sponsor of my website. I have been blessed to have Hay House, which is the international leader in inspirational, transformational, and self-help publishing, agree to advertise on my site. They also run Hay House Radio – which is an amazing collection of talented people who share their passion each and every day on their radio show. I’d love for you to check out their website by clicking on one of the posted banners. In blogs to come, I’ll be reviewing books and sharing advice about different events that Hay House may be offering. Now, time for a massage – ahhhhhh……
